Immigrants' rights groups sued Arizona and the federal courts stopped enforcement of the bill. The bill ended up in the US Supreme Court which heard arguments Wednesday. A ruling on the bill is expected in June. PHOTO BY JACK KURTZ

  • 27 FEBRUARY 2011 - PHOENIX, AZ: People listen to KELI CARENDER, from the Tea Party Patriots, speak at the Tea Party Patriots American Policy Summit in Phoenix Sunday, the last day of the conference. About 2,000 people were expected to attend the event, which organizers said was meant to unite Tea Party groups across the country. Speakers included former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, Texas Congressman Ron Paul, former Clinton advisor Dick Morris and conservative blogger Andrew Brietbart. The event ended with a presidential straw poll, which was won by Herman Cain, a newspaper columnist from Atlanta, GA. Photo by Jack Kurtz
