The Mae Tao Clinic provides healthcare to over 150,000 displaced Burmese per year and is the leading healthcare provider for Burmese along the Thai-Myanmar border. Reforms in Myanmar have alllowed NGOs to operate in Myanmar, as a result many NGOs are shifting resources to operations to Myanmar, leaving Burmese migrants and refugees in Thailand vulnerable.
