30 JULY 2017 - TUWED, JEMBRANA, BALI, INDONESIA: A Balinese man with one of his water buffalo before a makepung (buffalo race) in Tuwed, Jembrana in southwest Bali. Makepung is buffalo racing in the district of Jembrana, on the west end of Bali. The Makepung season starts in July and ends in November. A man sitting in a small cart drives a pair of buffalo bulls around a track cut through rice fields in the district. It's a popular local past time that draws spectators from across western Bali.
