09 OCTOBER 2014 - BANGKOK, THAILAND: Women pray for Bhumibol Adulyadej, the King of Thailand in the courtyard at Siriraj Hospital. The King has been hospitalized at Siriraj Hospital since Oct. 4 and underwent emergency gall bladder removal surgery Oct. 5. The King is also known as Rama IX, because he is the ninth monarch of the Chakri Dynasty. He has reigned since June 9, 1946 and is the world's longest-serving current head of state and the longest-reigning monarch in Thai history, serving for more than 68 years.
