The US Senate defeated the DREAM Act Saturday, Dec. 18, setting back the Obama administration's hope for comprehensive immigration reform. Sunday night immigration activists and supporters of the DREAM Act, met in a small church in central Phoenix for a prayer service in support of the Act, which would have put in place a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants brought to the US by their parents when they were children.
